Ashford Hill Cricket Club
Ashford Hill Cricket Club is located in North Hampshire within the village of Ashford Hill on the B3051 between Tadley and Kingsclere.(North West of Basingstoke and South East of Newbury)
The setting of our ground at the recreation ground is an idyllic location for cricket with hedgerows and cottages surrounding three sides of the pitch and is a similar picture for the rest of the recreation ground which includes a large open space and children’s play facilities all off a lane away from the main road making it a safe and pleasant location to bring the whole family on match days either as a player or spectator. Please ensure if you bring dogs that they are kept off the paying area and that all mess is cleared away, thank you.
Our facilities include our own brick built pavilion with all expected facilities (toilets, changing rooms with showers, covered tea room and kitchen) as well as bar. We also have two all weather outdoor nets for use by members at any time during the season (restrictions during matches apply), though we also have a dedicated practice night, currently Wednesdays between 7pm and 9pm.
We run 2 Saturday sides in the Regional Divisions of the Hampshire League. The 1st XI will be playing in Regional Div Two North East (R2NE) in 2011 The Second XI will be playing in Regional Four North East (R4NE) in 2011. We also run 1 Sunday side with a full season friendly fixture list.
